Sdsu Tap Agreement

The official repository for articulation agreements between California Community Colleges and California Public Universities is on www.ASSIST.org. Students can continue to send an email to the SDSU ™ and admissions to admissions@sdsu.edu, but there is a delay of 7 to 10 days in response time. Private/independent/extra-state minimum transfer requests are available on the California Community College Transfer Site (CCC). The list below represents some of the institutions in which Miramar has entered into agreements. Mark Grzeskowiak grzeskowiak@sdsu.edu (619) 594-0845. Articulation is the process of developing a formal written agreement that consists of taking courses (or study sequences) on a “transmitter” campus (z.B. San Diego Miramar College) that are comparable or acceptable with certain course requirements on a “reception campus” (z.B. UC, CSU or private university). Articulation agreements are designed to reduce the loss of credit or repeat course work from one institution to another and to ensure that students have adequate training and academic preparation to successfully transfer to university.

Guaranteed authorization is more often referred to as “Transfer Admission Guarantee” (TAG). A TAG is a contractual agreement between you, SBCC, and a four-year university or university. Students who meet and maintain the most important admissions and requirements are guaranteed to be admitted to a four-year university or university. The joint is a formalized planning tool that helps clarify the path of transfer to a student`s preferred university. Each university and captain has different requirements, including specific courses that students should take before the transfer. Many courses at San Diego Miramar College have articulation agreements with various regionally accredited public and private universities, which allow students to develop a clearly defined education map/plan to get started and stay on track to achieve their transfer and graduation goals. A signed agreement is required for UCSD`s U-Link programme. If you have any questions about specific articulation agreements or request an official course framework (COR), please contact Mara Sanft, Miramar`s joint manager, at mpalma@sdccd.edu. The following links are transfer guides provided directly by the universities listed below or the CCC transfer site.

Please note that these are not articulation agreements that have not been verified or approved by the San Diego Miramar College Articulation Office. Transfer Admission Guarantee (GAD) programs are designed to facilitate the transition from a community school to a 4-year university. The requirements for each of these programs/agreements vary. Check out the following information to learn more. No signed agreement is required for the SDSU BALISE.
